Fettuccine Alfredo
Fettuccine Alfredo
I know my Mom didn't make this when we were growing up because it is not that economical to serve to five children. To us kids it would have just been a white macaroni and cheese. This recipe was found on one of the index cards from her treasured box of recipes. My moms recipe does not have garlic in it but I added it to my version of this dish. Make this one when your not watching your waistline because its full of non diet ingredients. ENJOY!
12 oz Box Fettuccine
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup whipping cream (divided)
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon chopped Garlic (or to taste)
1 Tablespoon chopped Parsley (optional)
Cook Fettuccini and drain
Melt butter into a small pan Low heat.

Pour mixture over fettuccine, toss gently and add remaining ingredients.
Toss gently and serve warm
