Breakfast Pizza
Breakfast Pizza
I rememeber receiving this recipe from my ex-husband which was my husband at the time. He found the recipe in the local paper and made it for breakfast for the family. Sunday was always the day he made breakfast. I don't know what it is about some men but they love Sunday Morning having a big breakfast. The recipe below indicates sausage but you can use bacon instead as I did in the picture. Now that I am thinking about this recipe why couldn't you use either canned biscuts or even puff pastry . The recipe also indicates sharp cheddar cheese but you can any type cheese you like. I served our pizza's with fruit salad but its not necessary the pizza it self is a complete meal.
1 Pound Bulk pork sausage
1 package crescent rolls
1 cup frozen shredded hash browns (thawed)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
5 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper each
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Brown sausage in fry pan until done. Drain
Open crescent rolls and separate into 8 triangles. Place in a 12 inch Pizza pan with points toward the center. Press over the entire bottom and up the sides of the pan. Spoon the sausage evenly over the crust, sprinkle with hash brown potatoes. Top this with your cheddar cheese.
Beat the eggs with milk, salt and pepper and pour into crust. Sprinkle the whole pizza with parmesan cheese.

Bake 375 degrees
20-25 minutes
