Hot Dip
I received this recipe from my sister-in-law Debra Knight. I don't get to see her as often as I would like, everyone with our busy schedules. Debbie is a strong couragous woman who is a breast cancer survivor. Our family is proud of her courage and thankful she won her battle against a terrible disease.
I remember having this dip at her home many years ago. Debbie made it at the holidays and I remember how wonderful it smelled comming out of the oven. You could set it on a warming tray on your buffet.
It doesn't make a large amount so you may want to double the recipe. Serve this with crackers
Hot Dip
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
2 1/2 oz. dried beef (jar or package)
1/4 Cup finely chopped green pepper
1 Medium onion finely chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
3/4 Cup chopped Pecans

Soften the cream cheese and mix with all ingrediants except the pecans. Spead into and oven save pan. Melt one tablespoon butter in a small fry pan. Add chopped pecans and coat.
Spread evenly over the top. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with crackers
