Hawaiian Cheese Ball
This recipe is and old favorite. My mother use to make a cheese ball every year that contained blue cheese and it was delicious. But one year I tasted a cheese ball at my sisters that a neighbor made. Deceiding to try something new, I made it making a big new hit at Christimas.
To date I still make this cheese ball but I have to usually double or triple the recipe. I don't have this written down but just improvise from memory. I will get four or five balls from this one recipe, which I wrap with both plastic wrap and foil and freeze. This way we can enjoy this long after the holidays are gone. Or if we have any holiday visiting I will take one with me to share at the gathering.
You can make your own adaptions to this by adding or subtracting to change the taste. You might even like to try making smaller portion size balls to serve just a couple people. Make your holidays special with something homemade.

Hawaiian Cheese Ball
3 8 oz blocks of cream cheese
1 12 oz bag of sharp shredded cheddar cheese
1 large can of crushed pineapple drained
3 finely chopped green onions
1 lb bacon cooked crisp and finely chopped
1 tbls. soy sauce

Combine all ingrediants then refridgerate overnight or until firm.
Chop walnuts and mix with dried parsley for nice color.
Form into size ball you want and roll in walnuts and parsley.
Wrap each tightly and store in refridgerator. Or freeze for later after the holidays.
